Data Consent
This is what LCGrid keeps and why. When you press Accept on the dashboard, you're saying you're fine with it. Change your mind later and you can delete your account. The Privacy Policy goes into more detail.
What we collect about you
- Discord account: your user ID, username, display name and profile picture. We don't see your email, messages or server list.
- Roblox account (only if you link it): your user ID, username, display name and avatar. We can't act on your account, see your inventory or spend Robux.
- Your sign-ins: when each one started and was last used, your browser and device, and a rough city and country worked out from your IP address. We don't store the IP address itself. This lets you see where you're signed in and sign a device out.
What we collect when you use a server on LCGrid
- Server membership: the servers you're in, your roles, and your departments.
- Staff activity: your shifts, breaks, leave requests, staff records (such as warnings, strikes or promotions), and duty-rule checks, if you're on a server's staff.
- Moderation: logs your team makes about players. These include the player's Roblox ID and username, the reason, evidence, and who made the log.
- CAD: your unit, callsign and status, plus calls, notes, radio messages and the roleplay records your team creates.
What we collect from games and Discord
ER:LC: if a server connects its ER:LC server, we read live game data: who's in game, positions, teams, vehicles, joins, kills, commands and mod calls. Most of it is only shown live. We keep:
- a player count each minute
- a short "last 10 minutes in game" snapshot attached to warnings, kicks and bans, as evidence
- logs of actions LCGrid takes automatically
- camera reads of vehicles, kept for 7 days
Discord: if a server connects its Discord, we read that Discord server's name, icon, channels and roles, and which members hold linked roles.
Why we use it
Only to run LCGrid: to sign you in, run your servers, keep the records your team asks for, act in Discord and ER:LC when your team tells it to, and keep the service secure. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Members of a server see that server's data, depending on the roles and permissions its owner sets. We share data only with the services LCGrid runs on or connects to: Cloudflare (hosting), Discord, Roblox, and Police Roleplay Community (the maker of ER:LC). We'll also share it if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Your account and Roblox link: until you delete your account or unlink Roblox.
- Sign-in records: until 30 days after the sign-in ends.
- Server data (members, logs, staff records, shifts, CAD): while the server exists. Deleting a server deletes all of it. Anything staff delete is gone for good after 30 days.
- Duty-rule checks: 1 year.
- "Last 10 minutes in game" evidence and automation activity: 90 days.
- Player counts: 30 days. Camera reads: 7 days. Live game data: not stored.
The full list is in the Data Retention policy.
Your choices
- Sign out of one device, or every device, in Settings.
- Unlink Roblox in Settings, or remove LCGrid from your Discord account under Authorized Apps.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at support@lcgrid.xyz.
- Deleting your account withdraws your consent. We'll remove your data, except anything we have to keep by law.
Kids and COPPA
LCGrid isn't made for children under 13, and you have to be 13 or older to use it. In some countries Discord's minimum age is higher, and you need to meet that too. Before you accept, we ask the month and year you were born. We don't keep the date, only whether you're old enough.
- We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If the age check shows someone is under 13, we delete their LCGrid data straight away, sign them out everywhere, and stop that account and browser from signing in again. The same goes for any account we later find out belongs to a child.
- Parents: if you think your child under 13 has used LCGrid, email legal@lcgrid.xyz and we'll find the account and delete it. You can also ask what we hold about them first.
- Players in game: a server's staff can write logs about Roblox players, who can be any age, and LCGrid keeps short-lived game records like evidence snapshots. Those players don't use LCGrid and we don't collect anything from them directly. We hold only their public Roblox username and ID and what happened in game, use it only to run that server, and delete it on the schedule above.
This follows the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
