Privacy Policy
LCGrid is a dashboard for running Emergency Response: Liberty County (ER:LC) private servers on Roblox, with staff tools, moderation logs and a CAD. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you sign in
You sign in with Discord. We receive your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar. We ask Discord only for the identify permission, which does not include your email address, your messages or your list of servers.
When you link Roblox
If you choose to link your Roblox account, Roblox tells us your Roblox user ID, username, display name and avatar. We ask only for the openid and profile permissions. We cannot act on your Roblox account, see your inventory, or spend Robux.
What you and your team put into LCGrid
- Servers: the name, colour, logo and banner you give a server, its members, roles, invite codes and join requests.
- Moderation logs: the Roblox user ID, username and display name of the player a log is about, the reason, any evidence links, who made it and when.
- Sessions: the session messages your team sets up and who voted in a session poll.
- CAD: units on duty and their callsigns, calls, notes, radio messages, roleplay civilians and their vehicles, records and reports. Civilians, records and reports are roleplay characters and events, and should not contain anyone's real personal details.
From connected services
- Discord: if a server owner connects a Discord server, the LCGrid bot reads that server's name, icon, banner, channels and roles so the dashboard can use them, and posts the messages your team sets up. If roles are linked to Discord roles, the bot checks which members hold those roles.
- ER:LC: if a server owner connects their ER:LC server key, we read who is in game, the queue, join and leave logs, command logs, kill logs, player positions and vehicles from the ER:LC API. We keep this live data for a few seconds to show it and do not keep a history of it, apart from what ends up in a moderation log, a CAD record or a unit's bodycam timeline.
- Roblox: when someone looks a player up, we search Roblox's public user directory.
Secrets we hold for you
ER:LC server keys are encrypted before they are stored. Your sign-in is kept in one encrypted cookie on your device.
Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and short-lived cookies during sign-in and when connecting Discord, to stop forged requests. We also keep a few preferences in your browser, like which department you last used in the CAD. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics that follow you across sites.
Why we use it
Only to run LCGrid: to sign you in, show your servers, keep the records your team asks it to keep, post to Discord and run commands in ER:LC when your team tells it to, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Data in a server is visible to that server's members according to the roles and permissions its owner and staff set up. A moderation log about a player is visible to that server's staff. We do not share your data with anyone else, except the services LCGrid runs on and the ones you connect:
- Cloudflare hosts LCGrid and stores its data.
- Discord receives the messages and role changes your team sets up.
- Police Roleplay Community, the maker of ER:LC, receives the commands your team runs in game.
- Roblox handles Roblox sign-in and player lookups.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account or the server it belongs to exists. Server owners and staff can edit or delete most of what they create. To have your account and data deleted, email us and we will do it, apart from anything we must keep by law.
Your choices
- Sign out at any time. Signing out ends your session on this device.
- Unlink Roblox, or remove LCGrid from your Discord account under Authorized Apps in Discord's settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it.
Children
You need to meet Discord's minimum age in your country to sign in to LCGrid. Moderation logs can be about Roblox players of any age, so they hold only public Roblox identifiers and what staff write about in-game behaviour.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Big changes will be announced on LCGrid.
